Flutter Entertainment cut 350 jobs at its Indian subsidiary Junglee Games in November 2025, following India's sweeping ban on real-money online gaming under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. With Junglee forced to discontinue its real-money gaming operations, roughly 37% of its 950-person workforce was let go, primarily at offices in Delhi and Bengaluru. The remaining 600 employees were reassigned to Flutter's Hyderabad global capability center or moved onto the company's new free-to-play model. A Flutter spokesperson said the company had "to make the difficult decision to reduce our Junglee Games headcount in some areas, as we will now only offer Free to Play content while we assess our medium-term options in the market." The regulatory hit prompted Flutter to record a $556 million impairment charge, contributing to a net loss of $789 million in Q3 2025.
