Moon Active has 2 publicly reported layoff rounds on record between January 27, 2025 and January 27, 2026. A total of about 110 employees were affected across these rounds.
Layoff history
Moon Active, the Israeli mobile gaming company behind Coin Master, laid off about 110 employees in January 2026, roughly 5% of its 2,200-person global workforce. Around 30 of those workers were in Israel, where the firm employs about 1,400 people, with the remaining 80 or so cuts spread internationally. Management called the move a "targeted streamlining process" within two business units, part of its 2026 strategy, saying various departments had reviewed how operations and internal processes were structured. The decision came despite strong financials. Coin Master had generated more than $6 billion in cumulative revenue by 2024, and the company posted record revenue in 2025 with further growth expected in 2026. Moon Active keeps operations in Israel, Ukraine, Romania, and Lithuania.
