Priceline has 1 publicly reported layoff round on record (most recent June 28, 2024). A total of about 103 employees were affected across these rounds.
Layoff history
Priceline eliminated 103 positions in late June 2024, about 7% of its workforce, as part of a strategic restructuring at the Norwalk-based online travel company. The company said the role eliminations would free up investment in "key areas for growth," though it did not name specific business units it planned to prioritize. Cuts touched a wide range of seniority levels, including engineers, designers, directors, senior managers, and multiple VPs, according to affected employees. Severance was reported to include roughly four weeks' pay per year of service, though terms varied by country. The reductions came as parent company Booking Holdings was shifting resources across its portfolio of travel brands.
