Layoff history
Skybox Security shut down entirely on February 24, 2025, terminating all 300 employees across its U.S. and Israeli offices in what amounted to a full wind-down of the cybersecurity analytics firm. CEO Mordecai Rosen convened an all-hands meeting to announce the closure, with operations ceasing immediately. All of Skybox's business and technology was acquired by competitor Tufin, whose CEO Ray Brancato described his company as "the most financially stable" in the sector and "profitable, growing, and well-positioned for the future." Israeli employees were told their final paychecks would not be issued and were directed to file claims with the National Insurance Institute. Founded in 2002 by Gidi Cohen, Skybox had raised $288 million over its lifetime, including a $150 million round in 2017.
Reason: Company shutdown; assets acquired by Tufin
