Yotpo laid off roughly 200 employees, about 34% of its global workforce, in early August 2025 as the marketing software company narrowed its focus and sold off two product lines. Around 80 of the cuts were in Israel, with the rest spread across Bulgaria, Poland, London, New York, and Australia. The company sold its Email and SMS marketing businesses to Attentive for tens of millions of dollars, keeping only its Reviews and Loyalty products. CEO Tomer Tagrin called the cuts 'a painful but necessary process,' adding that 'tomorrow's companies will be smaller, more focused, and much more AI-based.' Yotpo, which raised $406 million total and was last valued at $1.4 billion in 2021, said AI already handles 70% of basic customer support requests and generates 90% of its marketing campaigns.
